Sacha Mendes: the History of the BCC

Sacha Mendes is the first international member of the BCC Board of Directors. He currently serves as a senior pastor at Maranatha Baptist Church in Sao Jose dos Campos and is a leader of the Brazilian Association of Biblical Counselors. Garrett Higbee: the History of the BCC

Garrett Higbee is the pastor of biblical soul care at Harvest Church North Indianapolis, director of pastoral care for the Great Commission Collective, and founder of Soul Care Consulting. He is also the president and co-founder of Twelve Stones Ministries in Brown County, Indiana. Dr. Higbee was a founding member of the BCC Council and served as the second executive director of the ministry. He joins us on this episode of 15:14 to reflect on his time with the BCC.

Deepak Reju: the History of the BCC

Deepak Reju is an associate pastor at Capitol Hill Baptist Church, where he oversees the biblical counseling and family ministries. He is the author and editor of many biblical counseling books and serves on the Board of Directors of the BCC. Randy Patten: the History of the BCC

November 2020 marks the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. To help us celebrate, we are interviewing a few people who have played key roles in the ministry. Randy Patten joins us for today’s episode to share his experience with the BCC. He explains why he supported its creation and continues to support the ministry as a member of the Board of Directors. Randy was the longest-serving Executive Director of The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) when it was known as the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC) and served as a pastor for many years. He now leads TEAM Focus Ministries, a discipleship coaching organization.

Robert Cale Veterans Day Special

This episode of 15:14 is a special Veterans Day interview with guest Robert Cale. Robert is a retired United States Marine Corps Combat Engineer. He currently serves as Aftercare Manager and Military Unit Liaison for the Mighty Oaks Foundation. Robert joins us to discuss the importance of faith and a church community for veterans and those currently serving in the military.

Dr. Bob Kellemen on the History of the BCC

Dr. Bob Kellemen was the founding Executive Director of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the BCC, he joins us to reflect on the founding of the organization and how it has developed over the past decade. Pat Quinn serves as Director of Counseling at University Reformed Church near Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Jeremy Stalnecker on Counseling Trauma Sufferers

Jeremy Stalnecker is the executive director and co-founder of the Mighty Oaks Foundation. He recently joined Dr. Solomon’s crisis and trauma counseling class to share an overview of the Legacy Program's philosophy and methodology. The Legacy Program is a week-long program designed to help men and women overcome struggles with Post Traumatic Stress. Jeremy’s insight should encourage biblical counselors everywhere that they can offer great hope and help to those who suffer tremendously by counseling from God’s Word.
