Dr. Lilly Park

Lilly Park, PhD, serves as the Associate Professor of Biblical Counseling at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has contributed to Trained in the Fear of God, as well as other books and journals. She is a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. Prior to biblical counseling, she worked as an organizational consultant in the Washington, D.C. area. Lilly and Curtis discuss her role as a professor, the biblical counseling program at Southwestern, and what it has been like to be a female biblical counselor and teacher in Christian higher education.

Jonathan Smith

Jonathan is the director of technology for Faith Ministries in Lafayette, Indiana. He is an author, frequent presenter at conferences related to biblical counseling, church technology, and leadership, and he speaks at parenting workshops across the country. Jonathan strives to use his passion for all things technology to honor Christ and help others do the same. He joins us on 15:14 to discuss his book, #RUHooked: Teens and Social Media.

Lee Lewis

Lee Lewis joins us for this episode of 15:14 to discuss his experience serving in a variety of ministry settings and locations. Lee is a BCC Council member and a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors. He and his family live in Austin, Texas, where he is Pastor of Soul Care Ministries at Radiant Church while also serving as a consultant for Soul Care Consulting. The previous three years were spent in Canada, where Lee was the Pastor of Biblical Soul Care for Harvest Bible Chapel in Muskoka. During that time, he also served in a directing/consulting role for a church plant network in Ontario. Before that, he served as a pastor at The Village Church for nearly 10 years. Lee is married to Andrea, and they have four children, Luke, Abel, Leah, and Miriam.

Dr. Robert Cheong

Robert Cheong is the Pastor of Care at Sojourn Church Midtown in Louisville, KY. He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and his MDiv and PhD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Cheong has a passion for equipping ministry leaders and church members to disciple and care for one another in community. Amy Baker: Caring for the Souls of Children

Sacha Mendes: the History of the BCC

Sacha Mendes is the first international member of the BCC Board of Directors. He currently serves as a senior pastor at Maranatha Baptist Church in Sao Jose dos Campos and is a leader of the Brazilian Association of Biblical Counselors. Garrett Higbee: the History of the BCC

Garrett Higbee is the pastor of biblical soul care at Harvest Church North Indianapolis, director of pastoral care for the Great Commission Collective, and founder of Soul Care Consulting. He is also the president and co-founder of Twelve Stones Ministries in Brown County, Indiana. Dr. Higbee was a founding member of the BCC Council and served as the second executive director of the ministry. He joins us on this episode of 15:14 to reflect on his time with the BCC.
