Dave and Stacey Hare join us for this episode of 15:14. They are currently on furlough after spending five years in Cameroon, Africa learning the culture and the language of a people group with no Bible. This interview explores the challenges faced not only in this culture but in others which have no written Bible to point people to as you seek to disciple them. The Hares share about the need for Scripture in the sanctification process as well as counsel that missionaries need to hear from their pastors back "home."

This episode features an interview with Chad Robichaux, Founder and CEO of The Mighty Oaks Foundation which runs The Mighty Oaks Warrior Programs. Chad is a former Force Recon Marine with eight deployments to Afghanistan, former law enforcement officer and Mixed Martial Arts champion. Mighty Oaks Warrior Programs help veterans, active duty service members and first responders who are struggling with Post Traumatic Stress (PTS). The program helps men and women overcome this battle through hope and help found in God's Word. 

Dr. Steve Viars, Pastor at Faith Ministries in Lafayette, Indiana, joins Curtis to discuss the importance and value of reaching out to our neighbors with the love of Christ ministering to them both body and soul. Dr. Viars shares how biblical counseling is an effective outreach that opened doors to other avenues of outreach through community service.

Dr. Jeremy Lelek joins Curtis for this episode of 15:14. Dr. Lelek shares about the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC) and the new structure of the Called to Council Conference for 2018. He also talks about another ministry he leads in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, called Metroplex Counseling.

Our guest on this week's episode of 15:14 is Ellen Castillo the Founder and Executive Director of Word of Hope Ministries in Santa Maria, CA. Listen in as Curtis asks Ellen to share about a variety of issues including the isolation many biblical counselors experience in their ministry, navigating the relationship with your church in parachurch ministry and using art to get teens to open up in counseling.

Author and blogger Tim Challies joins Curtis for this episode of 15:14. Tim shares the importance of the supremacy of Scripture in counseling, writing and every area of life. Tim also shares thoughts on digital vs. print bibles, the importance of face-to-face interaction in a digital world and some advice for those getting into the blogosphere.
