Andy has served as a pastor and elder at Covenant Fellowship Church in Glen Mills, PA, for over thirty years. He also serves on the Executive Committee of Sovereign Grace Churches. Andy’s areas of focus include church planting, counseling, and small group care. He received a BA in Political Science from St. Andrews Presbyterian College and an MA in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. He is the author of several books, including Real Peace, The Rich Single Life, and Trapped, and Ordinary Greatness – A Life of Elias Boudinot . Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Andy lives with his wife Jill in West Chester, PA. They have four married children and fourteen grandchildren. Andy is an avid fan of Philadelphia sports, the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Arsenal Gunners. He is desperately trying to teach himself the blues guitar. Andy joins us to share about his life, testimony, and ministry.

Eric Abisror is Professor of Biblical Counseling at Seminario Carey, pastor of Biblica Bautista Crecer, and missionary with Reaching & Teaching. Eric’s passions are discipling, counseling, teaching, and studying God’s Word. He also loves football and ice cream. Eric is a certified biblical counselor with The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and is currently pursuing his PhD in biblical counseling at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Eric’s wife, Danica, loves serving alongside Eric, particularly at home discipling their five boys. The boys are full of life and love soccer, sugar, and going to church! Paul Tautges serves as one of the pastors of Cornerstone Community Church in Mayfield Heights, Ohio (east of Cleveland). Prior to accepting the Lord’s call to Cornerstone, he pastored in Wisconsin for 22 years. Paul has been married to Karen since 1986. Together, they enjoy their ten children and their spouses, and their growing tribe of grandchildren. He is also an adjunct professor, certified biblical counselor and teaching fellow for the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, and a Council member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. Neal Grogan is an elder and associate pastor of Discipleship and Biblical Counseling at Christ Community Church. He also serves as Assistant Professor of Biblical Counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and has authored several books, including Mobilizing Church-Based Counseling: Models for Sustainable Church-Based Care, God’s Attributes: Rest for Life’s Struggles, and served as general editor for the Becoming a Church that Cares Well for the Abused (churchcares.com) project. Brad is the creator of G4, a group-based counseling model designed to be led by lay people in the church.

Jason Kovacs serves as the Executive Director of the Gospel Care Collective, a ministry that provides counseling, equipping, and consulting for churches in the area of biblical counseling. Dr. Ed Welch is a member of the BCC Council. He is a counselor and faculty member at the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF). He earned a PhD in counseling (neuropsychology) from the University of Utah and has a Master of Divinity degree from Biblical Theological Seminary. Ed has been counseling for over thirty years and has written many books and articles on biblical counseling, including When People Are Big and God Is Small; Addictions: A Banquet in the Grave; Blame It on the Brain?; Depression; Running Scared; Shame Interrupted; Side by Side: Walking with Others in Wisdom and Love; A Small Book about a Big Problem: Meditations on Anger, Patience, and Peace, and Created to Draw Near: Our Life as God’s Royal Priests. He and his wife, Sheri, have two married daughters and eight grandchildren. In his spare time, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife and extended family and playing his guitar. In this episode, we get to hear more about Ed’s upbringing, how he got into biblical counseling, and how he has continued to grow in his love for God.

Joe Keller is a member of the BCC Council. He has served in Christian ministry and leadership development for over 20 years. Joe currently serves as the Executive Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, California, and teaches in the Biblical Counseling Department at The Master’s University. He received his undergraduate degree at The Master’s University, Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry from Westminster Theological Seminary.
