Vision of Hope is a faith-based residential ministry whose staff and program focus on applying loving, practical solutions from God’s Word to help produce permanent and lasting change in women whose lives have become characterized by negative, life-dominating habits. Edward Wilde Legal Issues in Biblical Counseling

Edward Charles Wilde, Esq., B.A., JD, is an associated attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom. He also holds an MABC from The Master’s University, where he has been an adjunct professor since 2002. As a professor, he has taught a number of classes concerning business law, psychology, and Christian ministry. He is a contributing author of Men Counseling Men, coeditor of Legal Issues in Biblical Counseling, and is a content editor and contributor to the Journal of Biblical Soul Care. He and his wife, Kelley, live in Los Angeles and have five children, one of whom is with the Lord. Dr. Wilde joins us to discuss the recently published book which he helped write and edit, Legal Issues in Biblical Counseling.

Bryce Butler

Bryce Butler joins us for this episode of 15:14 to discuss financial principles for Christians. Bryce is the Managing Director of Access Ventures, an investment firm. Previously, Bryce has worked in Organizational Design & Development at a global manufacturing company and served as an Executive Pastor. Following graduation from Iowa State University, he served as a Captain with the US Army Armor Branch. He has an MA in Theology and a BS in Economics. Bryce has taught Social Enterprise as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Kentucky and has served on multiple boards. He is married to Bethany, and they have four children.

Northern California Steve Mawhorter

Steve has been at NorthCreek Church since 1984. He has served as Men’s Ministries Director, Director/Pastor of Biblical Counseling, and most recently, the Lifestage Pastor over singles and marrieds in the 30-60 years old category since 2007. During his ministry, Steve has built connections between over 100 churches in the Northern California area to further the understanding and practice of biblical counseling. He joins us for today’s episode of 15:14 to discuss that valuable ministry.

Eastern Iowa Biblical Counseling Coalition

Dave Kirk is the Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Grace Community Church in North Liberty, Iowa, where he has served since 2009. Before that, he was a pastor in St. Louis, Missouri for 13 years. Dave has been the co-founder and Director of the Eastern Iowa Biblical Counseling Coalition (EIBCC) since its inception in 2013. Dave has been in full-time ministry for 28 years. He earned a bachelor's degree and two master's degrees from Liberty University and is a certified biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).

The Houston Area Biblical Counseling Network

Shauna and Michael Van Dyke are our guests for this episode of 15:14. They join us today to talk about a ministry they founded and oversee called Truth Renewed. Truth Renewed works with local churches and offers free biblical counseling in the community. They also offer biblical counseling training that leads to certification with the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). Truth Renewed also provides consultation services to churches or people seeking to establish biblical counseling ministries.
