Dr. Ernie Baker is Pastor of Counseling and Discipleship at First Baptist Church Jacksonville, Florida. He is also Professor of Biblical Counseling at The Master's University and a Biblical Counseling Coalition Council Board Member. Dr. Baker describes the difference between training biblical counseling in churches vs. academic institutions and talks about his latest book Marry Wisely, Marry Well.

This week Curtis interview's Kim Kira the primary teaching Elder at Lighthouse Community Church in Torrence, CA. Lighthouse has a unique ministry because it is comprised of a predominantly multi-Asian congregation. Pastor Kira shares the blessings and challenges that face a church of this kind. He also gives some practical insights into counseling person's of various Asian cultures. We also get to learn about what the Lord is doing in the biblical counseling movement in Japan.

This week's episode of 15:14 is an interview with Dr. Tim Allchin. Dr. Allchin shares about the ministry of the Biblical Counseling Center which has been offering biblical counseling training since 1989. Dr. Allchin also discusses the experience of pursuing a doctor of ministry degree in biblical counseling.

Pastor Kike Torres is lead pastor at Horizonte Querétaro as well as Founder and President of the Biblical Counseling Coalition in Mexico (consejero.org). In this interview Kike shares about his own testimony and introduction to biblical counseling as well as the exciting work God is doing through biblical counseling in Mexico and Latin America.

This week's episode features an interview with Michael Leister. Michael helps coordinate the Network of Biblical Soul Care in Germany and German speaking countries in Europe. Learn about what God is doing through this network of biblical counselors and what we might learn from them.
